These terms govern your use of thehustlingcopywriter.com and any purchase of services made through it. By placing an order or using this site, you agree to these terms.
Who we are
The Hustling Copywriter LLC is an Illinois limited liability company, registered with the Illinois Secretary of State, with its principal address at 1118 Terrace View Dr, Aurora, IL 60504, USA.
Services and orders
We sell fixed-scope copywriting packages and monthly copywriting retainers, described and priced on this site in US dollars. Placing an order and receiving an order confirmation forms a contract between you and the studio for the scope, price, and turnaround stated on the package or package page at the time of order. All work is delivered digitally; there is no shipping and no physical goods are shipped.
Scope and revisions
Each package states its included deliverables, turnaround window, and number of included revision rounds. Work outside that stated scope — additional pages, articles, emails, or variants beyond what's included, or a materially changed brief — is treated as a new brief and quoted separately before any additional work begins. Revision rounds beyond those included in your package are billed per round at the rate stated on the Pricing page at the time of your order.
Payment and pricing
One-time packages are paid in full at the time of order. Monthly retainers are billed monthly in advance, starting on the date of your first order, and continue automatically until cancelled. All prices are in US dollars and do not include Illinois sales tax, which does not apply to professional writing services (see the Pricing page).
Intellectual property
Drafts and work in progress remain the intellectual property of The Hustling Copywriter LLC until final payment is received. On receipt of final payment for a package or retainer period, full ownership and rights to the delivered copy transfer to you. We may, unless you tell us otherwise in writing, refer to the type of work completed (e.g., "wrote a welcome email sequence for a B2B software company") for our own portfolio purposes, without identifying you or disclosing the copy itself, consistent with our proof practices described on the Work page.
Cancellation, kill fee, and refunds
Full terms are set out in the Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In summary: a full refund applies if you cancel before research begins on your project; a pro-rated kill fee applies once research or drafting has begun; no refund applies once a final draft has been delivered and approved. Retainers may be cancelled with 30 days' written notice; there is no refund for the remainder of a billing period already in progress.
Payment disputes and chargebacks
If you believe you've been charged in error, contact us first at support@thehustlingcopywriter.com so we can resolve it directly. Initiating a chargeback for work that has been delivered as scoped, without first contacting us, is a breach of these terms and may result in the suspension of future orders.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use this site to submit false or fraudulent orders, attempt to interfere with its operation, or request work for purposes that violate the FTC Act's truthful-advertising requirements or any other applicable law.
Disclaimer of warranties
Copy is written to the brief and scope you provide. We do not guarantee specific business outcomes (sales, rankings, click-through rates, or revenue) from any piece of copy, as those results depend on factors outside our control — your offer, your market, your traffic, and your execution. Services are provided "as is," subject to the delivery and revision commitments stated on each package.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Illinois law, The Hustling Copywriter LLC's total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your order is limited to the amount you paid for the package or retainer period giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or your order will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in DuPage County, Illinois.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time; the effective date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
