Refund Policy
Effective date: August 6, 2026 · The Hustling Copywriter LLC
This policy explains how cancellations, kill fees, and refunds work for one-time packages and monthly retainers purchased through thehustlingcopywriter.com. It's written for a copywriting studio selling scoped projects and ongoing retainers — not appointments, and not recurring on-site visits.
One-time packages
Before research begins. If you cancel before Stage 02 (Research) of your project has started, you're entitled to a full refund of the amount paid, less any payment-processing fees already incurred.
Once research or drafting has begun. A kill fee applies, pro-rated by the stage reached:
- 50% of the package price if cancelled after research has started but before a first draft is delivered.
- No refund once a first draft has been delivered, whether or not you've reviewed it yet — drafting is the bulk of the work and the largest share of the studio's time on any project.
After final delivery. Because copy is a bespoke digital service written to your specific brief, there is no "change of mind" refund once a final draft has been delivered and approved. If the delivered work does not match the scope and brief you agreed to at order, tell us — we'll revise it within your package's included revision rounds at no extra cost.
Revision rounds
Every package includes a stated number of revision rounds (shown on its package card and service page). Revisions beyond that number are billed per round at the rate stated on the Pricing page, and we'll always confirm the cost with you before doing the additional work.
Monthly retainers
Retainers (Email Retainer, Content Retainer, Always-On Ad Retainer) renew automatically each month. You may cancel at any time by giving 30 days' written notice to support@thehustlingcopywriter.com. You remain billed, and work continues, for the remainder of the current billing period — there is no refund or credit for a partial month.
How to request a refund or cancellation
Email support@thehustlingcopywriter.com with your order reference. We'll confirm which stage your project has reached and process any applicable refund to your original payment method within 5 business days of confirming eligibility.
